WalkMe Technical Training & Certification
The technical training at WalkMe enables our customers to use the WalkMe product and become self-sufficient. The curriculum was developed over the course of a year and reiterated several times to improve the customer experience. The courses within the curriculum led to specific certifications upon completion of additional requirements.

Role
I was tasked to develop content that would gradually expose customers to the product features/capabilities. This curriculum was designed to address real-life challenges and issues that arise during customer implementations. By doing so, we aimed to enable our customers to apply the knowledge to any application, rather than limiting it to their specific platform. The overall goal for this approach was to foster product adoption and facilitate the expansion of WalkMe within the customer's organization.
Course
The biggest challenge at WalkMe was that the product was very open-ended, making it difficult for customers to understand how and when to use a specific features of the WalkMe product for an implementation. Additionally, we needed to spin up two fictitious websites in order to develop use cases and scenarios.

Design
By creating a scenario based learning experience we were able help improve adoption and utilization of the WalkMe product. We made the learning stick for our customers by providing the value behind specific product features.
Throughout the course the customer would be presented with scenario where they could "shadow" an implementation using a website I created called Eddie's Depot to learn the "How To". They were then presented with a similar scenario on another fictitious website called Klaw in order to apply what they had just learned on their own. The entire experience was driven by hands-on experiences so customers would have more practice with the WalkMe platform.
While not part of the content below, instructor led sessions were held to facilitate discussion regarding content and a 50 question multiple choice exam was required to become certified. For some customers and partners, a hands-on project was required for the highest level of certification.
